Sukiyabashi Jiro is a 10-seat restaurant located in a Tokyo subway station. It is the first sushi restaurant in the world to receive 3 Michelin stars.
The owner, Jiro Ono, is regarded as the greatest living sushi master.

Jiro serves sushi and sushi only. He simplifies every dish down to the bare essentials. Instead of exploring different tastes, Jiro digs deeper to reach the maximum depth of flavour. At the age of 95, he is still working on mastering his skillset and innovating new techniques to create a better sushi piece.
In my opinion, he is also one of the greatest living minimalists.

If I could be half as dedicated as Jiro, I would only focus on capturing vast landscapes, reflecting the core beauty of nature without any distractions.
Pursuing the ideal location, frame, angle, light, weather conditions and camera settings to create the ultimate ocean picture could easily be a lifelong task.

Unfortunately, I’m a guy who decides on becoming a photographer one week, writer the next, and film director the week after.
So, please scroll down to enjoy my far-from-perfect minimalist landscape photography.
