24 Hours of Aygaz

Oh boy, this was a challenging brief. First of all, the client wanted to claim to be the gas station for everyone. Second, they wanted
an emotional film.

Gas stations are dull, unimportant places.
We don’t necessarily have any good or bad feelings for them. We don’t look forward to driving to one, but in the end, every driver
has to stop by at one regularly.

It felt interesting to look at the gas station as an intersection point where people from every walk of life come together - just like a bar in a drama series. Everyone has a story and all stories meet at the same place.

Suddenly, the dull gas station had a soul.

So, we narrated the 24 hours of an Aygaz station with mini stories and gave them a little twist with a poetic voice over. The spot made a tremendous impression in Turkey and most of all, it is my mum’s most favourite work of mine.

*To maintain the rhyming scheme, I almost rewrote the entire text while translating it to English (wow Alpan… you are such a great copywriter… maybe the best… sooo impressive).

I honestly don’t know why the above video is only available in 360p.
Here is a better version without the subtitles.
