I don’t know any football fan who doesn’t get goosebumps when the epic Champions League anthem strikes up right before kick-off. Nissan was giving the fans a once-in-a-lifetime chance to take part in the pre-game ceremony of the Champions League matches and asked us to create online spots for the announcement.
The brief brought back some funny childhood memories: I sometimes used to wave a tablecloth or a shirt and imagine myself waving the iconic CL flag on the pitch while the spine-tingling song was playing in my head.
As it turned out, I wasn’t the only one. So, we decided to recreate those moments (with slightly older guys). And even though we had a very low budget and almost no time, I think the spots came out to be quite fun.
